On Wednesday Morning 28 November 2018, The Permanent Committee of the Senate held its meeting under the presidency of Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, President of the Cambodian Senate with below agenda :
- To review and decide upon the proposal of the 2nd committee of the senate to summit the draft law of Budget Management for 2019 to the agenda of the 2nd session of the Senate.
- To review and decide upon the proposal of the 2nd committee of the senate to summit the draft law of State’s General Budget Payments for Management to the agenda of the 2nd session of the Senate.
- To review and decide upon the proposal of the 2nd committee of the senate of Draft Approval Law on:
-Agreement between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of tax breaks related to income tax.
-Agreement between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on the avoidance of overlapping tax and the prevention of tax breaks related to income tax.
-Review and Decide on the Proposal of the Sixth Committee of the Senate to submit a draft Extradition Convention on the Extradition Convention between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Russian Federation on the agenda of the second session of the Senate.
-Set agenda and date for the second session of the Senate 4th Legislature.
After listening to the report of the Competition Commission and listening to the opinions of the members, then the meeting approved the proposal of the second commission and the sixth commission of the Senate, drafting the four draft laws into practice. Schedule of 2nd Session of the Senate Legislature, considered to be a hurry and set Thursday, November 29 2018 At 08:00 AM, continue the second session of the Senate Legislature 4th Legislation, with the agenda: review and comment on the four draft laws.
