H.E Veng Sakhorn, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, received a courtesy call from Ms. Sunniya Durrani Jamal, ADB Cambodia Country Director, prior to the meeting about the cooperation over the agriculture development. Ms. Jamal has informed H.E about the purposes of the meeting:
- Require recommendation from H.E Minister to develop various sector development projects, in particular, agriculture, such as agriculture and water, climate change, improved public-private partnerships, and increased productivity of production.
- Study the need to discuss and set development plans according to the policies of the Ministry especially in accordance with the actual needs of the farmers or producers.
