Over 3,000 Graduates Of RULE Receive Certificates From Samdech Hun Sen


Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen presided over at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre, Phnom Penh this morning the graduation ceremony of 3,000 new graduates of the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE).

According to a report of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, among them, some 2,500 obtained their Bachelor’s degree while the rest got their Master’s degree. Of the total graduates, 16 are foreign students – 8 French, 6 Lao, 1 British and 1 Gabonese nationals.

RULE has been playing a key role in human resource training for socio-economic development of Cambodia, underlined the report.

Since 1982, it pointed out, more than 52,000 students, including 128 foreign students, have finished their studies at RULE. Currently, there are in total 14,700 students, of them 67 foreigners, and 576 teachers and education staff in this famous state-owned university.
