The Graduation Ceremony of Over 1,300 Medical Students


Some 1,356 medical students of the University of Puthisastra have obtained their certificates from Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The event took place at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh this morning.

According to the university’s report, most of the new graduates have conducted study visits and voluntary work at different health universities and institutes in various countries such as Korea, China, Japan and the U.S.

H.E. Sok Puthyvuth, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Puthisastra University, said since its operation in 2007, the university has been playing an active role in human resource development. More than 3,400 students have so far finished successfully their studies at the university, he added.

Currently, the university has been providing training for 1,825 students, pointed out H.E. Sok Puthyvuth.
