Senior Vietnamese Delegation Positive of Cambodia’s Strong Economic Performance


Senior Delegation of Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) has expressed his appreciation of Cambodia’s rapid development and reaffirmed the country’s stand for continued strong cooperation with the Kingdom.

The delegation – Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and Chief of the CPV Central Committee’s Office Nguyen Van Nen – highlighted his impression above when received by Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning at the Peace Palace.

The positive note of the meeting was reported by Minister Delegate Attached to the Prime Minister and a Member of the Supreme National Economic Council H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, underlining that both sides reaffirmed committed cooperation for stability, peace and development.

From his end, Samdech Techo Hun Sen spoke highly of strong tie between the two neighbours in diplomatic and other areas and briefed his guest on prime indicators of Cambodia’s solid economic development.

Toward the future, Cambodian Prime Minister hopes to further enhance bilateral trade between Cambodia and Vietnam from current volume of US$5 billion, and address remaining border work.
