Cambodian high-level delegation of the National Assembly (NA), led by its 2nd Vice President H.E. Ms. Khuon Sudary, is going to attend the 141st Assembly Meeting of Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) to be held in Belgrade of Serbia.
The information was revealed in a preparatory meeting at the NA Palace on Sept. 5.
Taking place from Oct. 13 to 17, 2019, the 141st Assembly Meeting of IPU is themed “Strengthening International Law: Parliamentary Roles and Mechanisms, and the Contribution of Regional Cooperation.”
Established in 1889, IPU has now 179 member countries, and 12 associate members. Cambodia became an IPU member in 1997.
