រសៀលថ្ងៃពុធ ៦រោច ខែផល្គុន ឆ្នាំរកា នព្វស័ក ព.ស ២៥៦១ ត្រូវនឹងថ្ងៃទី ០៧ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ ២០១៨ ឯកឧត្តម លឹម គានហោ រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងធនធានទឹក និងឧតុនិយម បានចុះពិនិត្យការដ្ឋានសាងសង់ប្រព័ន្ធធារាសាស្ត្រ វ៉ៃកូ ជំហានទី ២ ស្ថិតក្នុងខេត្តព្រៃវែង និងខេត្តស្វាយរៀង ។
ក្នុងឱកាសចុះពិនិត្យការងារនោះ ឯកឧត្តមរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ក៏បានជួបជាមួយអ្នកបច្ចេកទេសរបស់ក្រុមហ៊ុន Guangdong Foreign Construction Co.,Ltd នៃសាធារណរដ្ឋប្រជាមានិតចិន ដែលជាអ្នកអនុវត្តគម្រោងនេះ ដោយឯកឧត្តមបានណែនាំបន្ថែមលើលក្ខណៈបច្ចេកទេសមួយចំនួន សំដៅធ្វើយ៉ាងណាឱ្យសំណង់ប្រព័ន្ធធារាសាស្ត្រ ក្រោយពេលសាងសង់រួច មានគុណភាពល្អ ធានាការប្រើប្រាស់យូរអង្វែង ។
គួររំលឹកផងដែរថា គម្រោងប្រព័ន្ធធារាសាស្ត្រ វ៉ៃកូ ជំហានទី ២ ដែលមានសមត្ថភាពផ្គត់ផ្គង់ទឹកស្រោចស្រពដល់ដីស្រែប្រជាកសិករប្រមាណ ១០ ម៉ឺនហិកតា កំពុងត្រូវបានដំណើរការសាងសង់យ៉ាងមមាញឹក ។ ការងារសាងសង់ដែលត្រូវអនុវត្តនៅក្នុងជំហានទី ២ នេះ មាន ៖
– ជីកព្រែក ០២ ខ្សែ សរុបប្រវែង ១៤,៦ គម
– សាងសង់ប្រឡាយមេ ០៤ ខ្សែ សរុបប្រវែង ៥៩,៥ គម
– សាងសង់ទំនប់សណ្តរ ប្រវែង ៤១,៥ គម
– សាងសង់សំណង់បង្ហៀរ ចំនួន ០១ កន្លែង, សំណង់ស្ទាក់ទឹក ៦ កន្លែង និងសំណង់សម្រួលចរន្តទឹក ៨ កន្លែង ។
– សាងសង់ស្ថានីយបូមទឹក ចំនួន ០៤ កន្លែង និងសំណង់លូទឹក ៣២ កន្លែង ។
គម្រោងសាងសង់ប្រព័ន្ធធារាសាស្ត្រដ៏មានសក្តានុពលនេះ គ្រោងនឹងប្រើរយៈពេលប្រមាណ ៥២ ខែ ដោយគិតចាប់ពីថ្ងៃបើកការដ្ឋានកាលពីថ្ងៃទី ២៨ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ ២០១៧ កន្លងទៅ ។ តាមការរំពឹងទុក ប្រព័ន្ធធារាសាស្ត្រ វ៉ៃកូ ជំហានទី ២ នឹងផ្តល់ទឹកសម្រាប់ផ្គត់ផ្គង់ដល់ផ្ទៃដីបង្កបង្កើនផលស្រូវវស្សាប្រមាណ ៩៣.១០០ ហិកតា និងស្រូវប្រាំង ២៣.៣០០ ហិកតា បន្ថែមទៀត នៅក្នុងខេត្តព្រៃវែង និងខេត្តស្វាយរៀង ។
នៅពេលបញ្ចប់ការសាងសង់ទាំងស្រុង នៅឆ្នាំ ២០២១ ប្រព័ន្ធធារាសាស្ត្រ វ៉ៃកូ (ជំហានទី ១ និងជំហានទី ២) មានសក្តានុពលទឹកស្រោចស្រពស្រូវវស្សា និងស្រូវប្រាំង នៅក្នុងខេត្តព្រៃវែង ខេត្តស្វាយរៀង ខេត្តកំពង់ចាម និងខេត្តត្បូងឃ្មុំ ប្រមាណ ៣០ ម៉ឺនហិកតា ។

HE Lim Kean Hor, Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology, inspects the the construction of Vai Ko Irrigation System , 2nd step in Prey Veng and Svay Rieng provinces.

During the inspection, HE Minister also met with technicians from Guangdong Foreign Construction Co., Ltd. of People’s Republic of China, who implemented the project, which he also introduced in addition to a number of technical specifications to ensure the good quality of this construction after completed also long term use.
The Vai ko irrigation system has the capacity to supply water to irrigate 10,000 hectares of rice fields, is under construction. The construction to be implemented in Step 2 is:
– Total length of 2 canals: 14,6 km
– Constructing 04 main canals , totaling 59.5 km
– Construction of 41.5 km of dam
– Constructing one site of water drainage construction, 6 sites of water blocking and 8 sites of current water streamline
– Constructed 4 pumping stations and 32 drainage constructions.
The potential hydropower project is expected to last approximately 52 months from July 28, 2017. It is expected that the second step of Vai Ko Irrigation System will provide water to supply approximately 93,100 hectares of irrigated rice fields and 23,300 hectares of dry-season rice in Prey Veng and Svay Rieng provinces.
At the completion of construction in 2021, Vai Ko Irrigation System (step I and step 2) have the potential to irrigate rainy and dry season rice fields in Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, Kampong Cham and Tbong Khmum provinces of about 300,000 hectares.
