Cambodia reported neither no new positive nor recovered case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) this morning, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.
Therefore, the total confirmed cases in the Kingdom remains at 302, including 187 Cambodians, 45 French, 18 Chinese, 13 Malaysians, 9 Indonesians, 9 Americans, 6 British, 3 Vietnamese, 3 Canadians, 3 Indians, 2 Hungarians, 1 Belgian, 1 Kazakhstani, 1 Polish, and 1 Pakistani.
Of them, 289 or 95.70 percent have been successfully recovered.
Regarding the Nov. 3 Event, it pointed out, from Nov. 4 to 15, a total of 3,918 samples have been tested, of which 1,741 for first test, 825 for second test, and 1,352 for third test. As a result, four people are COVID-19 positive. They have already been admitted to the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh.
Despite the negative test results, the Ministry of Health once again appealed to all those involved in the Nov. 3 Event to continue their 14-day quarantine properly and strictly, and to do the 4th test to be held on Nov. 18 in order to prevent possible community transmission of COVID-19.
Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
