Cambodia would experience the first round of cold weather from Dec. 4 to 7 due to high pressure and strong northeast monsoon.
The new weather forecast was made public by the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology in an announcement released this morning.
During the period, the temperature in the central lowland areas would be between 19 and 28 degrees Celsius, while that in the areas along the Dangrek mountain range and northeastern highland areas would vary between 17 and 27 degrees Celsius, and the coastal regions from 21 to 29 degrees Celsius, it pointed out.
The ministry called on people, especially the soldiers stationed at the Dangrek mountain range and northeastern highland areas to take good care of their health.
