6th Meeting on Trading Strategy to Optimise Benefits from Free Trade Agreement


Ministry of Commerce has recently organised the 6th Meeting on Trading Strategy to optimise the benefits from the Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

The meeting was led by H.E. Pen Sovicheat, Under-Secretary of State for the Ministry of Commerce, with participation from concerned officials.

The meeting decided to add SWOT analysis in the Factsheet, and agreed on the content of report on trading strategy for optimising benefits from FTA.

It also touched on the establishment of Matrix table, recommended by H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, for 50 items: 20 new products, 20 growing products, and 10 mature products by conducting studies on technical and customs barriers, trade preferences granted by China to Cambodia in order to boost to the maximum the exports to China.
