A total of 140,773 people have been vaccinated with China-made Sinovac during the first four days of the large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
The Royal Government started the large-scale vaccination campaign with Sinovac vaccine on April 1, after receiving 1.5 million doses of Sinovac bought from China in late March.
Currently, Cambodia has three kinds of vaccines –Sinopharm, AstraZeneca/SII (COVISHIELD), and Sinovac.
According to the Ministry of Health, 418,569 people have so far been vaccinated against COVID-19 nationwide.
The Royal Government of Cambodia has set to vaccinate at least 10 million people against the deadly virus.
Cambodia has so far received more than 3 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines – 1.5 million doses of Sinovac bought from China, 1.3 million doses of China-donated Sinopharm, and 324,000 doses of AstraZeneca/SII (COVISHIELD), donated by WHO via COVAX Facility.
