Cambodia Reports 72 New Cases of COVID19; 47 Recovered


Cambodia reported 72 new cases of COVID19, while 47 patients recovered on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Health’s press release dated 6 April 2021 (updated as of 10:00 a.m).

The newly infected patient is a 28-year-old Indian man returning from India through South Korea’s flight to Cambodia on 4 April 2021.

The other 71 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Chinese and Burmese nationals from Prey Veng, Kampot, Pursat, Svay Rieng, Kandal, Sihanoukville, and Phnom Penh.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 2824 cases of COVID19 with 1794 recoveries and 22 deaths.
