The construction of the new Phnom Penh Airport has reportedly reached 26 percent, according to the Cambodia Airport Investment Co., Ltd. (CAIC).
The new Phnom Penh International Airport project worth US$346 million is expected to be operational by 2023, CAIC pointed out.
On Wednesday, CAIC and Prince Bank signed an agreement of US$15 million in guaranteed bond issued by CAIC for the construction of the new airport.
The bond’s coupon rate is 5.5 percent per annum with a tenor term of three years guaranteed by OCIC (Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation Ltd.).
