Japan to Support Cambodia’s Government Reform Acknowledged


Cambodia acknowledged Japan’s support for rage of reform led by the Royal Government, including local administration and security.

Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior expressed the appreciation in a meeting with newly-appointed Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. UENO Atsushi at the ministry on Feb. 6.

Samdech Sar Kheng particularly spoke highly of Japan’s contribution to Cambodia’s decentralisation and deconcentration reform.

The two also touched on the cooperation in human resource development and advancement of comprehensive bilateral cooperation.

They looked forward to further cooperation during the tenure of the new Japanese diplomat in Cambodia.
