The new Royal Government of Cambodia of the 7th Legislature of the National Assembly has just started for 42 days, but it has done a lot for the citizens.
At a get-together with some 18,000 workers from Khan Meanchey and Khan Dangkor in Phnom Penh this morning, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said that a small number of analysts did not dare to mention the achievements of Cambodia in this period.
The Premier raised some of the efforts, adding that the Royal Government has successfully held the negotiations on the increase of the minimum wage for the garment workers and employees from US$200 this year to US$204 next year, along with lobby and engagement with foreign investors and so on.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet took the opportunity to inform the public that the Royal Government will not let any people die by starving.
The Royal Government does not have a lot of money, but will not let our people in difficulty, he underlined.
