His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath NORODOM Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, will pay a visit to Hainan province, the People’s Republic of China, on Dec. 19-21, 2024, at the invitation of the Chinese side.
The information was shared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a press release issued this evening, adding that His Majesty the King will be accompanied by Samdech Mahamontrei KUY Sophal, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Royal Palace, and other senior officials of the Royal Palace.
During the visit, the source pointed out, His Majesty the King will grant separate royal audiences to Hainan provincial leadership, and also to the teaching faculty and Cambodian students at Nanhai Buddhism Academy.
“The visit of His Majesty the King to Hainan province will further strengthen the bonds of close friendship between the peoples of Cambodia and China, and promote the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Cooperation between the two countries,” underlined the press release.
