Minister of Rural Development H.E. Chhay Rithisen and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wenbin have discussed rural infrastructure development and clean water supply, especially in the government’s model villages.
The two discussed the cooperation in a meeting on Dec. 24 at the Ministry of Rural and Development.
H.E. Chhay Rithisen briefed H.E. Wang Wenbin on his ministry’s implementation of model villages, which is part of a bigger strategic priority of the Royal Government in Cambodia.
The support from China has contributed to further transforming rural Cambodia into prosperous areas, with improved livelihood opportunities and community, he added.
H.E. Wang Wenbin highly valued the efforts of the Cambodian government as well as the ministry and reaffirmed China’s long-standing support for the work.
