Cambodia to Create Two Regional Hospitals in the Country


Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has mentioned the planned construction of two regional hospitals in two provinces.

At the graduation ceremony of the University of South-East Asia in Siem Reap provincial city this morning, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said the two regional hospitals will be built in Siem Reap and Kampong Cham provinces.

“These two regional hospitals will have full capacity to provide major surgery services, including heart, brain, cancer, etc.,” the Premier underlined.

To further improve health services for the public, the Royal Government of Cambodia has been following the Roadmap for Universal Health Coverage in Cambodia 2024-2035.

Currently, Cambodia has at least 1,288 health centres and 132 hospitals across the country.
