PM to Continue His Father’s Legacy on Education


Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet this morning reaffirmed his commitment to continuing his father’s legacy in education, emphasising that human resources are the key to the country’s development and prosperity.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a school building and other achievements at Hun Sen Sereypheap high-school in Takhmao town, Kandal province, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, former Prime Minister of Cambodia, has constructed numerous school buildings across the nation. He pledged to further these efforts under his leadership to promote education and develop human capital for national progress.

“We need to build more schools and strengthen both teaching and teachers’ quality […],” the Premier underlined.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet also urged continued efforts to enhance the education sector, starting from the elementary schools, and reiterated his commitment to supporting educational initiatives.

Moreover, he said, the Royal Government will do its best to modernise the education, especially by encouraging young students to develop computer literacy from an early age.
