Cambodia, India Eye Deeper Relations and Cooperation


Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, met with visiting Minister of State for External Affairs of India, H.E. Pabitra Margherita, yesterday afternoon in Phnom Penh to reaffirm the commitment of both nations to deepening bilateral cooperation.

During the courtesy call, H.E. Pabitra Margherita commended the strong and long-standing friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and India. He expressed India’s continued commitment to strengthening and expanding these ties across various sectors to make them even more robust and prosperous.

For his part, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet warmly welcomed the Indian delegation and expressed his appreciation for the growing bilateral relations, noting that Cambodia is eager to work closely with India to unlock further potential for collaboration.

The two sides discussed and agreed to continue enhancing cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, finance, defense and security, culture, education, health, tourism, aviation connectivity, and textiles.
