Cambodian Tourism Minister Promotes Nation’s Potential at Ho Chi Minh City Expo


Cambodia’s Minister of Tourism, H.E. Huot Hak, led a delegation to attend the 19th International Tourism Expo in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to showcase the nation’s rich tourism offerings.

The event, which ran from September 3-7, attracted a significant number of international participants.

During his visit on September 4, Minister Huot Hak inspected Cambodia’s pavilion and instructed officials to actively promote the country’s tourism potential. He urged them to provide comprehensive information and a welcoming experience for all visitors.

The expo was co-organized by Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

The large-scale event drew approximately 300 international buyers from 40 countries and over 30,000 visitors. It featured about 400 exhibition booths, including Cambodia’s, and facilitated more than 12,000 business meetings.
