Nearly 30 major French companies are currently in Cambodia to explore new investment opportunities and strengthen economic partnerships, the French Embassy announced this morning.
According to the source, the delegation is led by H.E. Olivier Richard, French Ambassador to Cambodia; Ms. Sophie Sidos-Vicat, President of the French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCEF) and Co-President of the Europe and International Committee of MEDEF (Mouvement des Entreprises de France); and Mr. François Corbin, Vice-President of MEDEF International and Special Representative of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs for Economic Relations with ASEAN.
The delegation was received by H.E. Keo Rottanak, Minister of Mines and Energy, H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Minister of the Environment, H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, and H.E. Ros Seilava, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, to discuss prospects for cooperation and contracts in key sectors where French companies have expertise and added value.
A lunch was also organised with representatives of major Cambodian companies to identify avenues for partnerships.
