H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports, received H.E. Ms. Alona Fisher-Kamm, Ambassador of Israel to Cambodia, on Nov. 26 to discuss further strengthening cooperation in the education sector.
The meeting centred on expanding educational collaboration between the two countries, including the provision of scholarships for Cambodian students to study in Israel and an invitation for Cambodia to participate in an upcoming international conference on Education, Innovation, and AI to be held in Israel in February 2026.
H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron warmly welcomed the newly appointed ambassador and offered his congratulations on her assignment to Cambodia.
He expressed hope that the two nations will continue advancing their cooperation for the development and progress of Cambodia’s education sector.
For her part, H.E. Ms. Alona Fisher-Kamm reaffirmed her commitment to further enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in the field of education, throughout her diplomatic tenure.
