H.E. Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani, Honourable Chairman of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, arrived in Phnom Penh this morning for an official visit to Cambodia until Feb. 5, 2026, at the invitation of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Senate.
According to the Senate Secretariat General, during the visit, H.E. Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani, also Founding Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC), and the delegation will be granted a Royal Audience with His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He will also hold bilateral talks with Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and pay courtesy calls on Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei KHUON Sudary, President of the National Assembly, and Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The official visit of H.E. the Honourable Chairman to the Kingdom of Cambodia will further strengthen the bonds of friendship, bilateral relations, and parliamentary cooperation between Cambodia and Pakistan.
It will also contribute to advancing Cambodia’s parliamentary diplomacy agenda under the wise and visionary leadership of Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, in promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development at the regional and global levels through dialogue and international cooperation.
