VINCI Group Reaffirms Commitment to Promoting Cambodia’s Tourism Potential


VINCI Group, a leading international company in airport management and operations, has reaffirmed its commitment to continue collaborating in promoting Cambodia’s tourism potential.

The commitment was made during a meeting held in Phnom Penh on Mar. 10 between H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and Mr. Emmanuel Menanteau, Member of the Executive Committee of VINCI Airports and Regional Director responsible for the Americas, Northern and Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia, as well as Chairman of the Board of Société Concessionnaire de l’Aéroport (SCA).

The meeting took place at the Ministry of Tourism headquarters and was attended by the company’s delegation.

During the meeting, the VINCI representative provided updates on the latest developments at Sihanouk International Airport and the progress of the Techo International Airport project.

Both sides also discussed the outlook for Cambodia’s tourism sector and potential areas of cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, the Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB), and Cambodia Airports to develop action plans aimed at promoting Cambodia’s tourism potential and attracting more international visitors to the Kingdom.

For his part, H.E. Huot Hak expressed appreciation to the company for its continued active participation in the development of Cambodia’s aviation sector and its support for the growth of the country’s tourism industry.

The Minister emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation between the aviation and tourism sectors to enhance international connectivity and further develop Cambodia’s tourism industry in a more sustainable and competitive manner at both regional and global levels.

Both sides agreed to continue working together on action plans to promote Cambodia’s tourism potential and strengthen air connectivity in order to attract more international tourists to the Kingdom.
