H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation, received a delegation from the Federation of Associations for Small and Medium Enterprises of Cambodia (FASMEC), led by Oknha Te Tangpor, at the Ministry on Mar. 17.
During the discussion, both sides exchange views on potential areas of collaboration to support Cambodia’s small, and medium enterprises (SMEs), according to the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI).
Minister Vanndy expressed appreciation for FASMEC’s engagement and its continued interest in contributing to SME development.
He emphasised that Cambodia’s MSME landscape, including a large informal segment, requires clear institutional frameworks and effective representation mechanisms aligned with national priorities.
The Minister encouraged continued dialogue between MISTI and FASMEC to explore appropriate avenues for future collaboration, especially in support of enterprise formalisation, competitiveness, and sustainable growth.
