KIAF Members Interested in Investing in Cambodia


More than 50 companies that are members of the Korea Industry Alliance Forum (KIAF) have expressed their interest in investing in potential sectors of Cambodia.

The interest was shared by visiting Mr. Marn-Ki Jeong, Chairman of KIAF, while paying a courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, prior to the opening ceremony of the Cambodia Trade Expo 2024 at PH Green Hall Centre, Borey Peng Huoth Boeung Snor, Phnom Penh this morning.

Mr. Marn-Ki Jeong said that those companies have shown their desire to seek investment opportunities in Cambodia’s key sectors, including engineering, infrastructure construction, human resource development in automotive, technical, and technological skills, healthcare and beauty services, investment in general commercial systems, and media, etc.

Samdech Thipadei extended warm welcome to the KIAF delegation, and introduced the priority policies of the Royal Government of Cambodia, which focus on building infrastructure, including the construction of international airports, expressways, improvement of railways and deep-water ports, and the construction of many other important infrastructures.

The Cambodian Premier also highlighted the policies and incentive mechanisms of the Royal Government of Cambodia that ensure a highly competitive investment environment, as well as Cambodia’s connection to regional and global markets through bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements.

Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister encouraged the KIAF delegation to continue to work with relevant ministries and institutions of Cambodia to further seize investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
