The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports (MoEYS) and the Action Pour Les Enfants (APLE) have reached a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote Internet safety in schools and protect children from online sexual exploitation and abuse.
H.E. Mrs. Kim Sethany, Secretary of State of the MoEYS and Mr. Samleang Seila, Executive Director of APLE Cambodia, inked the MoU at the ministry’s office in Phnom Penh late last week.
According to APLE Cambodia, the partnership will implement the Promoting Internet Safety in Education project, focusing on enhancing the capacity of educational institutions and developing tailored educational resources to integrate online safety into educational programmes.
