Ministry, FPC Discuss Women Empowerment


The Ministry of Women’s Affairs and the Formation et Progrès-Cambodge (FPC) have discussed more cooperation, particularly in empowering women and girls.

The discussion took place between H.E. Dr. Ing Kantha Phavi, Minister of Women’s Affairs, and Mr. François Schnoebelen, FPC President, in Phnom Penh, on Monday.

H.E. Dr. Ing Kantha Phavi shared with her guest key highlights of the ministry’s achievements in promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls in Cambodia.

Mr. François Schnoebelen spoke highly of the ministry’s efforts and hoped to work with the ministry to bring the achievements to a new height.

He also asked the ministry for its support to organise the Women and Girls Empowerment Forum in Siem Reap province in May or late this year.

H.E. Dr. Ing Kantha Phavi supported the initiative and requested the technical teams of the ministry and FPC to discuss the details in organising the forum.
