Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet this afternoon urged all Cambodian diplomats to further promote Cambodian tourism and rich culture in response to any misinformation about the Kingdom.
“The fact that Australia has considered Cambodia as her top travel destination, I think our message of safety, peace and stability in Cambodia has been received, therefore our embassies and consular offices have to continue to do this work,” he said at the closing ceremony of the Ministry of Tourism’s annual meeting.
Siem Reap in Cambodia, home to the famous Angkor Wat Temple, has taken out the top spot for Australia’s trending travel destinations in 2025, according to a travel-comparison website, Skyscanner’s Travel Trends 2025 report, underlining that interest has increased a whopping 529 percent.
