Cambodia and Sri Lanka have pledged to foster cooperation on culture and fine arts between the two countries.
The commitment was highlighted in a meeting between H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, and H.E. Ms. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of Sri Lanka to Cambodia, based in Bangkok, in Phnom Penh on Feb. 26.
Looking ahead, H.E. Ms. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe was committed to further strengthening cultural cooperation during her diplomatic mission in Cambodia.
H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona congratulated H.E. Ms. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe on her new role and welcomed the intention, looking forward to working with the ambassador.
The two sides spoke highly of the long-lasting relations and good cooperation between the two countries so far.
