Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC), distributed the essential aid to 2,250 vulnerable families in Oddar Meanchey province this morning.
The aid was delivered across Banteay Ampil and Chongkal districts, as well as Samrong city.
During the distribution ceremony, the CRC President conveyed warm regards and greetings from Here Majesty Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, Honorary President of the CRC, and emphasised the organisation’s dedication to supporting those in need.
The aid packages, funded through donations marking the May 8th Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, included: 30kg of rice; instant noodles; canned sardines; soy sauce; cooking oil; shampoo; sugar; hygiene kits (sarong, krama, mosquito net, blanket); bread; drinking water; and 20,000 Riel (approximately US$5).
The distribution highlights the CRC’s ongoing efforts to assist vulnerable communities nationwide.
