The Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit 2025 under theme “Accelerating ASEAN’s Connectivity: People, Infrastructure, and Trade” was officially opened here this morning by Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet.
At this auspicious event, Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister, emphasized the Cambodia’s commitment to foster a resilient, sustainable, inclusive, and competitive ASEAN Economic Community.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet has said that infrastructure development, digital connectivity, and trade facilitation as key drivers of regional economic growth and integration.
For his part, Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and Chair of ASEAN-BAC Cambodia, said this event is held in the midst of the day-to-day noise, confusion and disruptions that are unfolding in the world stage.
“We are here today to send a strong message to every one of our shared spirit and strong commitment to build and nurture the ASEAN Economic Community. We are here today – both our government and the private business sector – to work together to find win-win solutions and opportunities in a calm, constructive and brotherly atmosphere”, he underlined.
This is the ASEAN Way that we know and believe in. The closer we work together, the stronger we become as a nation and as a region and shield us from the global uncertainty towards achieving our full economic potentials and prosperity, he stressed.
With a projected combined GDP of US$10 trillion by 2030, ASEAN will become the world’s fourth-largest economy, Neak Oknha Kith Meng called all business and foreign investors to consider Cambodia. “I dare to say that Cambodia, with all of us working together, is strategically positioned to be a driving economic force in the years to come.

Neak Oknha Kith Meng also said Cambodia is also a strategic and advantageous location, coupled with rapidly improving infrastructure and a proactive and business-friendly government focused on streamlining business processes.
This event attracted total 191 international companies, 124 local companies with 510 participants.
