The Ministry of the Royal Palace turns down the social media accounts faked under the names of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, and Her Majesty Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk.
The official rejection was issued on May 21 in a statement by the ministry received by AKP.
It reaffirmed that His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni and Her Majesty Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk do not own any social media accounts.
Only two websites, which are www.norodomsihamoni.org/ and www.norodomsihanouk.info/, have been used as official platforms to share information about the King and the Queen-Mother.
Any platforms other than the websites, including social media accounts, using the names of the King and the Queen-Mother are fake, added the statement.
It called the attention of all relevant institutions and authorities to take the toughest legal measures against those fake communication channels.
