Today marks the sixth day since Thai military forces renewed their aggressive attacks on Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, with no sign of a reduction in their operations, according to H.E. Lt. Gen. Maly Socheata, Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence.
Speaking at a press briefing this morning, the spokeswoman said the Thai side has repeatedly violated the ceasefire and the Joint Declaration signed by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Kingdom of Thailand on Oct. 26, 2025, by continuing armed aggression against Cambodia up to this morning.
According to her updates, Thai military forces have continued their aggressive and indiscriminate attacks on Cambodia at multiple locations in Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey, and Banteay Meanchey provinces, using various types of weaponry.
H.E. Ms. Maly Socheata demanded the Thai side to immediately cease all aggressive actions; stop spreading false information intended to distort the truth; end indiscriminate attacks, particularly on civilian communities and infrastructure; and halt assaults that damage historical sites, which she underscored are not only Cambodia’s most precious cultural assets, but also part of the heritage of all humankind.
