Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, on the 78th Anniversary of the Independence Day (Jan. 4).
“On behalf of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Cambodian People’s Party, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and the government and the friendly people of Myanmar on the momentous occasion of the 78th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar,” he stated in his messaged dated Jan. 2.
“Recognising Myanmar’s strong determination, resilience and commitment to the well-being and prosperity of her people, I highly value our strong bilateral relations rooted in shared cultural and religious values, mutual respect and understanding, a strong foundation for our growing mutually beneficial cooperation,” he stressed.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen concluded his message by reiterating his firm commitment to continue working closely with H.E. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing to enhance Cambodia-Myanmar ties bilaterally and multilaterally so as to serve the best interests of the two nations.
