Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Hun Many on Tuesday encouraged high school students nationwide to put their utmost effort into preparing for the upcoming national graduation exam to secure top marks and Royal Government incentives.
H.E. Hun Many, who also serves as the Minister of Civil Service and Head of the Royal Government Working Group for Kampong Speu Province, made the remarks during the inauguration ceremony of two Krom Ngoy Heritage Libraries at local high schools in Borseth district, Kampong Speu.
With the national high school diploma exam scheduled for Aug. 10, the Deputy Prime Minister called on candidates to maximise their potential. He also urged teachers and regional education officials to provide comprehensive support to students to ensure their years of academic dedication yield successful results.
Expressing gratitude to school administrators, teachers, and parents for elevating education quality, H.E. Hun Many highlighted the growing competitive spirit among students. He noted that 79 students in the province achieved the top “Grade A” ranking last year, all of whom received special recognition and rewards from state leadership.
Under the national educational slogan “The knowledgeable will pass,” the Deputy Prime Minister expressed optimism that this year’s passing rates and top-tier grades will surpass previous records. He added that the Royal Government and various universities stand ready to offer robust scholarships and incentives to high-performing graduates following the announcement of exam results.
