Phnom Penh to Host Inaugural Muslim-Friendly Tourism Forum and Fair 2026

The Ministry of Tourism is set to host the “Cambodia Muslim-Friendly Tourism Forum and Fair 2026” from July 10 to 12 at the Food Palace (OCIC) in Khan Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh.

The landmark three-day event will convene under the theme, “The Land of Gentle Hearts and Trusted Home in Travel.”

According to an official ministry announcement released today, the event is designed to achieve three primary objectives:
Position Cambodia as a safe, welcoming, and trusted destination for international travelers; Promote mutual understanding and cultural dialogue between communities; Strengthen regional cooperation and deepen industry awareness of the unique needs and trends of Muslim travelers, leveraging digital era innovation and resilience.

The forum will feature high-level panel discussions with a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Royal Government officials, tourism experts, Muslim community leaders, and private sector executives.

These panels will exchange best practices, share invaluable insights, and collaborate on strategies to ensure the sustainable, resilient, and inclusive growth of Cambodia’s tourism ecosystem.

Running parallel to the forum, the “Muslim-Friendly Tourism Fair” will take place at the same venue, providing a premier platform to showcase specialized tourism products, culinary offerings, and travel services.
