Cambodia and Quebec Pledge Stronger Cooperation in Paris Talks

Cambodia and Quebec moved to deepen their diplomatic and economic partnership on Monday, as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn met with Honorable Christopher Skeete, Quebec’s Minister of International Relations and La Francophonie, on the sidelines of a Francophonie gathering in Paris.

The June 29 talks built directly on their previous engagement at the 46th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie in Kigali, signaling sustained momentum in bilateral ties between the Southeast Asian nation and the Canadian province.

Beyond institutional cooperation, Sokhonn briefed Skeete on recent developments along the Cambodia–Thailand border, offering Quebec a first-hand update on regional dynamics.
