The Cambodian Ministry of Tourism (MoT) and Genrich Investment Co., Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to research and advance sustainable tourism development, environmental conservation, carbon credits, and climate solutions in Cambodia.
The signing ceremony, held at the Ministry’s headquarters on Sept. 22, was chaired by H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism.
The Minister expressed high appreciation, praise, and gratitude to Genrich Investment Co., Ltd. for its excellent initiative aimed at developing Cambodia’s tourism sector sustainably.
He noted that the Royal Government of the 7th Legislature, under the wise and visionary leadership of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, considers tourism a priority sector to drive national economic growth and improve citizens’ livelihoods in line with the Pentagonal Strategy – Phase 1.
Mr. Lim Lork Johnson expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended by the Ministry of Tourism and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Ministry.
He noted that the partnership will focus on studying and developing projects related to sustainable climate solutions, carbon credits, environmental restoration, and ecotourism in Cambodia, in compliance with the active laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
