Battambang provincial governor has encouraged Chinese investors to invest in the province’s agro-industry, mainly in the processing of fruits and agricultural products for export.
H.E. Governor Sok Lou made the encouragement while receiving a delegation of Chinese investors in Battambang provincial city on Aug. 10.
He extended warm welcome to the Chinese delegation who wished to learn about investment potential and opportunities in Battambang, stressing that the province is considered the country’s 4th economic pole and a major tourism destination.
H.E. Sok Lou highlighted the province’s progress in all sectors, particularly its physical infrastructure development, as well as the current and planned road and railway connection to Battambang, which will facilitate the travel and trade and boost tourism.
