Cambodian PM Sends Condolence Message to President of South Korea


Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has extended his sincere condolences to President of the Republic of Korea H.E. Yoon Suk Yeol over the passing of his father.

“My wife and I are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of your beloved father Mr. Yoon Ki-jung, on 15 August 2023,” Samdech Techo Hun Sen wrote in his message dated Tuesday.

“At this sorrowful moment, we would like to convey our deepest condolences and profound sympathies to you and your family for this immense loss,” he added.

“We have no doubt that your beloved and respected father left our world with a peaceful heart teeming with pride and content that he had raised you to be a wise statesman who strives tirelessly to promote the happiness, prosperity and welfare of the whole Korean nation,” said the outgoing Cambodian Premier.

Mr. Yoon Ki-jung, a renowned economist and the father of the South Korean President, died on Tuesday at the age of 92.
