Cambodian Prime Minister, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet and Chinese Premier H.E. Li Qiang held a bilateral meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia this afternoon, on the sidelines of the 43rd ASEAN Summit and Related Summits.
The two leaders stressed the intention to bring more benefits for the two nations through mechanisms to strengthen and expand the bilateral cooperation based on strong and close ties.
They are also expected to hold further talks during Samdech Thipadei’s upcoming visit to China.
H.E. Li Qiang extended his sincere congratulations to Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet on his appointment as the Prime Minister of Cambodia for the 7th Legislature of the National Assembly and conveyed greetings and best wishes from Chinese President H.E. Xi Jinping and himself to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Supreme Privy Council of His Majesty the King.
For his part, the Cambodian Premier thanked the Chinese side for the congratulations and greetings and conveyed the greetings from Samdech Techo Hun Sen to H.E. Xi Jinping and the Chinese people, who are good friends of the Cambodian people.
