Minister of Information H.E. Neth Pheaktra has pushed all state media outlets to be more active, pre-active and inter-active as propaganda front broadcasting government’s works to the people inside the country and to the world.
He made the remarks at a ceremony commemorating the 45the founding anniversary of Saporemean Kampuchea (SKP), now the Agence Kampuchea Presse (AKP), and the Voice of Kampuchean People, now the National Radio of Cambodia (RNK), together with the 40th founding anniversary of National Television of Cambodia (TVK) as well as the 44th founding anniversary of Kampuchea Newspaper, at Chroy Changvar International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh on Dec. 3.
In the Royal Government of the 7th Legislature of the National Assembly, all state media – AKP, TVK, RNK, and other state media outlets have been strengthening and expanding their broadcasts with quality and professionalism, and contributing to the fight against fake news, he said.
On the occasion, H.E. Neth Pheaktra recalled the legacy of the ministry’s former leaders and veteran media officials as well as their sacrifices in disseminating the government’s works and voices.
