Cambodia and Vietnam have vowed to further strengthen and expand the relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The commitment was made in a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Sar Sokha and Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Nguyen Huy Tang here in Phnom Penh on Dec. 26.
H.E. Sar Sokha and H.E. Nguyen Huy Tang spoke highly of the cooperation of the law enforcement forces of the two countries, as well as their exchange of security information and solving any problems along border areas.
Both sides also noticed solid achievements from the recent visit of Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
H.E. Sar Kheng expressed his appreciation of H.E. Nguyen Huy Tang’s mission in Cambodia, saying that it has significantly enhanced intimate relations and promoted cooperation in all sectors, particularly politics, trade, investment, education, and tourism.
