Cambodian PM Holds Talks with Chairman of a Political Party of Myanmar


Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received H.E. U Khin Yi, Chairman of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) of Myanmar, in a courtesy call at the Peace Palace this morning.

On the occasion, H.E. U Khin Yi expressed his pleasure in paying another visit to Cambodia. He praised the wise leadership of Samdech Thipadei, describing him as a leader of great ability and knowledge, with extensive experience in the military sector.

He added that the main purpose of his visit was to strengthen cooperation between the USDP and the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), particularly in the areas of youth and women’s engagement, as well as media collaboration.

In response, Samdech Thipadei warmly welcomed H.E. U Khin Yi and his delegation, expressing satisfaction with the progress of relations between the two parties. He encouraged the continued strengthening of both state-to-state and party-to-party cooperation, especially in fostering closer ties among the youth of both nations.
