Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has expressed his support for the initiative of Japan-Cambodia Association to establish a public park dubbed “PKO (peacekeeping operations) Park” to commemorate the relations between the two countries.
The information was shared by H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, following the courtesy meeting between Samdech Techo Hun Sen and H.E. Takahashi Fumiaki, President of Japan-Cambodia Association and former Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia, at the Peace Palace here this morning.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen advised H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister and Secretary General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) to work with Phnom Penh Municipal Hall on this matter.
The Premier also welcomed the plan of H.E. Takahashi Fumiaki to lead a delegation of investors to Cambodia in April this year.
For Prek Thnaot flooding prevention, Samdech Techo Hun Sen instructed H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea to cooperate and coordinate with the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology and other relevant institutions so that H.E. Takahashi Fumiaki’s team can make a presentation after conducting some studies on the issue.
