The Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Cambodia Office and the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA) have officially signed the Record of Discussions for a project to strengthen the Civil Aviation Training System at the National Institute of Civil Aviation (NICA) of Cambodia.
This partnership will boost training quality and ensure a safer, more skilled aviation workforce.
The Record of Discussions was signed here on Mar. 26 between H.E. Dr. Mao Havannall, Minister in Charge of SSCA, and Ms. Choi Moonjung, Country Director of the KOICA Cambodia Office.
The project with a grant aid of US$12 million will be implemented from 2025 to 2029, with key components including curriculum development, instructor capacity enhancement, infrastructure improvement, and strengthening NICA’s institutional capacity to manage and deliver effective training programmes.
