Speaking at the CVRA’s Extraordinary Congress at the Ministry of Interior, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet for the decision, which he said will help ease the burdens faced by veterans’ leadership.
He further noted that the Royal Government has established an information technology system to manage statistics of veterans and former civil servants, ensuring effective oversight and secure delivery of monthly social security payments through partner banks nationwide.
The CVRA President also commended the government for strengthening a sustainable social safety net aimed at improving the living conditions of veterans, retired civil servants, and their families, enabling them to live with dignity and stability in their communities.
On the occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen announced that he and his spouse will support the construction of 100 houses for veterans annually for five years, from 2025 to 2030.
