Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Dith Tina attended the 2nd ASEAN-Japan Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry Meeting (2nd AJMAF) held in Manila, Philippines, on Oct. 2.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), the Minister endorsed the revised ASEAN-Japan MIDORI Cooperation Plan, which serves as a key framework for cooperation aligned with the six strategic priorities of the ASEAN Food, Agriculture and Forestry Sectoral Plan 2026-2030.
The MIDORI Cooperation Plan provides a strategic direction for strengthening the ASEAN-Japan partnership in advancing food security, environmental sustainability, and climate resilience, while supporting development and improving people’s livelihoods.
H.E. Dith Tina expressed appreciation to the Government and people of Japan for their continued technical and financial support in previous projects. He welcomed the newly revised projects under the ASEAN-Japan MIDORI Cooperation Plan and affirmed Cambodia’s readiness to actively participate in their implementation.
